37th Annual
Western Illinois University Jazz Festival
February 2010
The 37th Annual Western Illinois University Jazz Festival will be held Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 18-20, 2010. On Thursday evening, there will be a jam session at the Macomb Country Club. Friday’s main event will be the Jazz Studio Orchestra/Jazz Band concert featuring John Clayton, the great bassist and composer from Los Angeles, California! And, on Saturday, we expect our lineup for middle/junior high and senior high school jazz bands to be outstanding, as usual. Our guest artist/clinician will again perform with JSO on Saturday afternoon.
For band directors, check the links on this site for Jazz Festival materials (invitation, flyer, schedule, entry form, concert ticket form, and lodging information). Early registration deadline for entries is December 1st, and after that date, it will be at the higher rate.
