Roger D. Clawson, Moline, IL; appointed 2013

Roger Clawson was appointed to the Western Illinois University Board of Trustees on February 25, 2013. Mr. Clawson is a 1977 graduate of WIU in Business and Finance. He has been a local agent with State Farm Insurance in Moline, Illinois for over 30 years.

Mr. Clawson has served on the Alumni Council since 2001, serving two terms as President of the Council and has also served on the WIU Foundation. Mr. Clawson is currently on the Western Illinois University Quad Cities and Planning Advisory Board.

He is active in the community where he has served on the Moline Park Board since 1998, ten of those years as President. During that time he was responsible for bringing 5 National ASA (Amateur Softball Association) tournaments to Moline, an estimated economic benefit of $2.5 Million per tournament.  He has served as a Director for the Moline Little League for over 20 years.
