Phil G. Hare, Rock Island, IL; appointed 2012 Phil Hare

Phil G. Hare was appointed to the Western Illinois Board of Trustees on March 15, 2012. A Rock Island native, Phil attended Black Hawk College in Moline, IL before serving in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1969-1975.

Phil spent over 20 years working as an aide to Representative Lane Evans. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives for Illinois 17th congressional district from 2006-2010. Phil is currently retired and lives in Rock Island, IL with his wife Beckie.
