  • Jolene Willis, Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs, presented a poster on Illinois Wind for Schools with Matt Aldeman, Center for Renewable Energy at Illinois State University at the American Wind Energy Association WINDPOWER Conference & Exposition held June 3-6, 2012, in Atlanta, GA. Willis also participated as a member of the Illinois Wind Energy Team booth marketing Illinois to the international wind industry. She also represented IIRA-WIU and the new Illinois Wind for Schools program at the U.S. Department of Energy's Wind Powering America All-States Summit held June 7, 2012, also in Atlanta, GA.

  • Dr. Jeannie Woods, Theatre and Dance, chaired and presented on a panel: "Fulbrights in Theatre: Engaged Reciprocity—How the Fulbright Experience Goes Far Beyond the In-Country Experience. " and presented a paper "Sweet Sock and Smiley Face: and Other Adventures in Chinglish on the Stage" at the 2012 conference for the Association for Theatre in Higher Education in Washington, D.C., August 2012.
