Professional Activities

  • Kathy Barclay, Curriculum and Instruction, presented a statewide webinar entitled "Language Reasoning: Supporting Developmentally Appropriate Practices While Using the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale," for more than 100 preschool teachers and child care providers on Nov. 7. The webinar is part of a series sponsored by the Illinois State Board of Education/Illinois Resource Center/Starnet.
  • Keith Holz, professor of Art History, Department of Art, participated in the research workshop "Émigré Voices: Edith Hoffmann & Josef Paul Hodin" at Tate—Britain (Millbank), London) on Nov. 1 . Holz presented a new research paper "Writing Kokoschka into Art History." The workshop is in the "Art Writers in Britain" series arranged and hosted by the research division of the Tate Art Museum and was co-sponsored by the Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
