  • Kristen Dragos (B.A. 2010, M.A. 2013) created and taught language arts and social studies curriculum to 7th and 8th graders.   • Anna Westermeyer  (B.A. 2009 / M. A. 2013) teaches English at Central Lee Community School District in Donnellson, IA (2015); taught secondary English Language Arts at Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Illinois (2009-2015)
  • Christina Holt (B.A. 2009) was accepted a fully funded position to teach and study in Western Washington University’s M.F.A program in Creative Writing program.
  • Glenna Sabo (B.A. 2009) teaches middle school English at Escola Americana do Recife in Brazil (2015) and before that was high school English teacher in East Dubuque, IL (2013-2015)
  • Kathleen Crosby (B.A. 2009) taught high school at VIT in Table Grove, IL (2012)
  • Neil Lesinski (B. A. 2009)  completed a Masters in Educational Leadership in 2013. He is now the department chair of Career Tech Ed. programs and also teaches English to freshmen and juniors at Lakes Community High School in Lake Villa, Illinois.

2006

  • Dan Connelly (B. A. 2006) was nominated for the California League of School’s Educator of the Year Award in the fall of 2014. Connelly taught high school English for five years on the south side of Chicago before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area to work at Capuchino High School in 2011. There, he says he “continues to facilitate and foster individual inquiry and curiosity with humans between the ages of fourteen and sixteen.”

2005
