Bachelor of Arts—Literature and language

  1. University General Education and College of Arts and Sciences Curriculum Requirements —60 s.h.
  2. Core Courses—Eng 200, 299, 476†
    • Choose two of the following: ENG 201, 202, 290, 291—15 s.h.
  3. Option of Study—Literature & Language—13 s.h.
    • One upper-divisiong course in Forms, chosen from among the following: ENG 300, 302, 304, 305, 306, 310, 393, 395; or ENG 400, 409 when appropriate
    • One upper-division course in Traditions, chosen from among the following: Eng 301, 311, 312, 314, 319, 324, 331, 334, 335, 337, 340, 347, 353, 355, 390; or Eng 400, 401, 409 when appropriate
    • One upper-division course in Social Justice, chosen from among the following: Eng 307, 346, 348, 350, 351, 357, 358, 392; or Eng 400, 401, 409 when appropriate
    • One upper-division course in Theory/Language, chosen from among the following: Eng 368, 370, 372, 389, 473, 474
    • ENG 376
  4. Departmental Electives (6 s.h. must be upper-division)—12 s.h.

†Eng 476 fulfulls the Writing Instruction in the Discipline ( WID)  graduation requirement for the Literature and Language option.
