Summer Science Program for High School Students
The Geology Department participates in the Discovering the World Through Science program offered each summer for high school students. Students in this program are taught hands-on science by faculty from a wide variety of departments at WIU. The geology component of the course includes a field trip to WIU's Kibbe Field Station where topics such as geologic time and natural resources are explored.
