DR. UTE CHAMBERLIN JOINS WIU HISTORY FACULTY

Dr. Ute Chamberlin, who has been a member of the History faculty at Arizona State University, joined the WIU History Department faculty in Fall 2008 as our new tenure-track Assistant Professor of German History. Dr. Chamberlin, who earned her Ph.D. in History at Arizona State University in 2007, is specialist in the history of modern Germany and European women. She offers WIU's upper-division courses on general German history, the history of Nazi Germany, twentieth-century European history, and European women's history.

Dr. Chamberlin has presented her research at the national conferences of both the Social Science History Association and the German Studies Association. We are delighted that she has joined WIU's History faculty.
