Phi Alpha Theta Elects New Officers for 2010-2011

Western's chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national History honorary society, held its annual election of officers on Thursday, Apri 15, 2010, the group's Faculty Advisor, Dr. Lee Brice, Associate Professor of History, announced.

Brady Childs, a junior History minor and Political Science major from Bushnell, was elected as President for the 2010-2011 academic year. He will be joined by newly elected Vice President Lauren Armstead, a sophomore History Teacher Education major from Auburn, and Abi Johnson, a senior History Teacher Certification major from Chicago, who will continue in the position of Treasurer.

While Dr. Brice is on sabbatical in 2010-2011, Dr. Tim Roberts, Assistant Professor of History, will be the organization's Interim Faculty Advisor.
