RYAN LAMBERT NAMED DEPARTMENT SCHOLAR FOR SPRING 2008

Ryan V. Lambert of London Mills, who graduated cum laude with a 3.867 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) in May 2008, was named as the Department of History's Department Scholar for Spring 2008. Mr. Lambert, an Honors Scholar, was awarded the B.A. in History Teacher Education from WIU's History Department. Mr. Lambert's honors thesis, "Witchcraft and Art in Early Modern Europe: Reality and Fantasy," was completed under the direction of Dr. Jennifer McNabb, Assistant Professor History, in December 2007. Mr. Lambert recently completed his student teaching at Peoria Central High School during the Spring 2008 semester and plans to pursue a career as a secondary school history teacher.
