• Actuarial science: Modeling mortality rates, Mathematical demography, Pension annuities
• Math Education

 I would guide the student in finding a project from the above areas. The student would be expected to carefully study and summarize relevant research literature. In case a student wants to develop a computer support for the study, I would help with that.
