WIU-QC Classes On, Except CODEC;
Classes at 4 p.m. On at BHC
UPDATE (1:45 p.m.) - Western Illinois University-Quad Cities 60th Street campus will close at 4 p.m. because of a power outage.
Students with classes that begin before 4 p.m. will have class at WIU-QC.
Students with classes that begin at 4 p.m. and after will have class at Black Hawk College. Students are asked to use the 70th Street entrance. Members of the WIU-QC administrative team will be in Building 1 to direct students to their classes. There will be no CODEC classes this evening as there is no connectivity, according to Joe Rives, vice president for Quad Cities, planning and technology.
All other Quad Cities courses held outside of the 60th Street campus will be held at their usual location.
The 60th Street campus will resume operations at 8 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 4).

No Power at WIU-QC; Update on Classes at 2 p.m.
UPDATE (12:30 P.M.) - There is no power and the battery back-up has been depleted at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities.
Three buried lines need to be replaced in order to restore power to the campus, according to Joe Rives, vice president for Quad Cities, planning and technology.
An update on the status of evening classes will be posted here around
2 p.m.

Partial Power Outage at WIU-QC; Classes On
MACOMB/MOLINE, IL (11 a.m.) – There is a partial power outage at the Western Illinois University-Quad Cities, 60th Street, Moline; however, the building remains open and classes will meet as scheduled, according to Joe Rives, vice president for Quad Cities, planning and technology.
