Dorothy R. "Dode" Hanson Scholarship

Criteria

The intent of the scholarship is to assist undergraduate students in a nursing program at Western Illinois University. Students must be admitted to the School of Nursing. Applicant’s legal permanent address for the past year must be in McDonough County, Illinois.

Terms

The amount of the award is $2,000.00 annually applied to student’s account. $1,000.00 for Fall semester and $1,000.00 for Spring semester.

Selection Process

Recipients will be selected by the NursingScholarship Committee.

Additional Comments

Applicants must have two (2) letters of reference sent using the attached form. Financial need IS NOT a consideration.

Recipients may reapply for the scholarship; it is not automatically renewable.
