Sociology

Bachelor of Arts in Sociology

In addition to completion of the University General Education and College of Arts and Sciences Curriculum Requirements, sociology majors are required to complete five core courses (Soc. 100, Anth. 110, Soc. 232, Soc. 332, Soc. 333 and Soc. 415) plus 18 hours (six courses) of sociology electives. These electives may include up to 6 s.h. of anthropology coursework beyond Anth. 110. A total of thirty-three semester hours are required for a sociology major. Minor in Sociology

Anthropology

Major in Anthropology

In addition to completion of the University General Education and College of Arts and Sciences Curriculum Requirements, anthropology majors are required to complete four core courses (ANTH 110, ANTH. 111, ANTH 419, and EIS 440) plus 21 hours (seven courses) of directed electives.
