Ms. Keithley is the Academic Advisor for the School of Agriculture at Western Illinois University from 2009 to present. She earned both her MBA and BB degree from Western Illinois University. Prior to advising Agriculture students she advised business students and had a career in banking.

She is the faculty advisor for the following student clubs/organizations with the School of Agriculture:

  • Ag Council - Ag Council is comprised of representatives from each of our student groups within the School of Agriculture. This group works to coordinate and disseminate information to students and student groups within the School.
  • Ag-Vocators - The Ag-Vocators serve as the student recruiters for the School of Agriculture. They participate in recruitment events and visit local classrooms.
  • Sigma Alpha Sorority - Sigma Alpha is a professional Sorority promoting sisterhood among women in agriculture.

Ember has been recognized both on-campus and nationally for her role in advising earning the 2010-2011 Western Illinois Outstanding Academic Advisor award and the 2012 Outstanding Advising NACADA Certificate of Merit.
