WIU Installs Small Wind Turbine

Installation of the 70 foot, 2.4 kW (kilowatt) turbine and tower was completed December 6th. It is located just west of Western's Harry Mussatto Golf Course. Read the full story.

Faculty News

At the 2012 Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) conference Dr. Charles T. Weiss was appointed to the position of Vice President for the Graphics Division of ATMAE. Dr. Weiss will serve a one year term in the position.

The GCOM Club gathered 315 toys for Project Santa! The toys were donated to the local Western Illinois Regional Council (WIRC) which provides toys, clothing, food baskets, and other necessities to area children and families in need.
