Civil Engineering Program Details

  • Civil Engineering is offered at the WIU-QC Campus; most Freshman and Sophomore year classes can also be completed at the Macomb Campus.
  • Students develop knowledge in four areas of Civil Engineering: Geomechanics, Hydrology, Structures and Transportation.
  • Students have access to a wide range of analysis and design software.
  • The Internship requirement provides practical experience in an actual workplace and often leads to full-time employment upon graduation.
  • The Senior Design Project involves at least two of the CE disciplines studied and may be completed with an industry/government partner as an extension of an Internship.
