University Singers Audition
Information and Procedure
Audition
Date: Monday, January 14,
2008
Audition Times:
Noon to 6 PM
Location: Sallee Hall 200 (Dr. Stegall’s Office)

The University Singers
is a highly selective ensemble. Remember that all students receiving
Talent Grant Awards must audition for University Singers, however,
all University students are encouraged to audition.

Sign for an audition
time located at Sallee 200. The audition sign up list will be
available by December 12, 2007. Fill out an information sheet
located at Sallee 200 and bring it to your audition.
·
Your audition will be
the singing of a small excerpt of Only My Dreams by Ron Kean.

the excerpt from Only My Dreams. Begin at measure 13
and stop at measure 35. Prepare this work on your own preferred
singing part. Basically, you will be evaluated on your attention
to performance detail including...

audition, simply a hearing to decide voice part assignments.
