On July 6 at 1:17 a.m. an Office of Public Safety officer heard fireworks near the 500 block of West Adams. Upon his arrival, he discovered that a fire had been set on a concrete slab near the hole number three on the University's disc golf course, along with nearly 60 fireworks canisters. The Macomb Fire Department extinguished the fire. The incident is under investigation.
