2009-07-20 to 2009-07-22

On July 20 at 12:12 p.m. a worker at Thompson Hall reported that her purse, containing a small change purse with $40 in it and some cosmetics, was missing from her car parked in the Thompson Hall lot. Her wallet, containing her driver's license and credit cards, was left on the seat. Estimated value of the purse was $15. The purse and its contents were later found.

On July 21 at 2:23 p.m. a fire alarm sounded on the 5th floor women's side lounge in Thompson Hall and a second alarm sounded in the hallway. OPS officers discovered a microwave had gotten hot and burned a plate, but there was no fire. The Macomb Fire Department responded with two trucks and four firefighters.
