On Aug. 28 at 11:51 p.m. Ryan Day, 21, of 416 Elting St., Apt. 1B, was arrested in the 500 block of West Adams Street on a DuPage County warrant (dangerous drugs). He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

On Aug. 29 at 1:45 a.m. an individual reported that the driver's side mirror on his vehicle had been broken off, causing $350 in damages, while parked in the University Union meter lot.

On Aug. 29 at 11:32 a.m. an individual reported that he had lost his wallet on campus, which contained cash, a bank card and other ID, and his debit card had been used at a local business for $17.50 in merchandise. The incident is under investigation.

On Aug. 29 at 4:28 p.m. an individual reported that the driver's side mirror on his vehicle had been broken off, causing $150 in damages, while parked in L-Lot.

On Aug. 30 at 1:37 a.m. Christopher LeFever, 19, of 714 Corbin Hall, was arrested in the 400 block of West Adams Street for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned an Oct. 6 court date.

On Aug. 30 at 2:35 a.m. Hassan Alabkari, 22, of 330 W. Wigwam Hollow Rd., Apt. 8, was arrested in the Higgins Hall Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. He posted his driver's license and $100 cash bond for a Sept. 21 court date.

On Aug. 30 at 3:07 a.m. nonstudent Ryan Weber, 20, of Mokena (IL), was arrested in the 500 block of West Adams Street for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned an Oct. 6 court date.

On Aug. 30 at 3:23 a.m. nonstudent Justin Zimmerman, 19, of Alton (IL), was arrested at the Pierce and Charles streets intersection for driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted his driver's license and $100 cash bond for a Sept. 30 court date.

On Aug. 30 at 2:32 p.m. a student reported that he had lost his WIU ID card and someone had spent $600 from his WIU account. The incident is under investigation.

On Aug. 30 at 7:19 p.m. Matthew Multz, 18, and James Pieper, 18, both of 405 Thompson Hall, were arrested in their residence hall room for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams). Pieper was assigned a Sept. 29 court date. Multz was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (Aderol) and unauthorized bringing contraband (cannabis) into a penal institution (McDonough County Jail). Multz was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

On Aug. 30 at 7:52 p.m. Andrew Guinane, 18, of 703 Tanner Hall, was arrested in his residence hall room for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was assigned a Sept. 29 court date. Another student was judicially referred for possession of cannabis.

On Aug. 31 at 6:26 a.m. an individual reported that someone had thrown a brick through a construction trailer at Memorial Hall.
