On Sept. 9 at 10:41 p.m. four students in Henninger Hall received judicial referrals for possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Sept. 10 at 1:36 a.m. a student walking near Lincoln Hall received a judicial referral for possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Sept. 10 at 2:03 a.m. two students near Browne Hall received judicial referrals for possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Sept. 10 at 7:33 p.m. residents of a Lincoln Hall apartment reported a rock appeared to have been thrown threw their window. Estimated damage is $150.
On Sept. 10 at 10:37 a.m. a student reported her car parked in L-Lot had key scratches to the driver's side door. Estimated damage is $200.
On Sept. 10 at 10:52 a.m. a student in University Village reported that the lock on his bike had been damaged. Estimated cost is $5.
On Sept. 10 at 3:49 p.m. a student reported her car had a dent in the driver's side front fender while it was parked in Q-Lot. Estimated damage is $500.
On Sept. 10 at 11:08 a.m. a student reported he had lost his WIU ID card between the Donald S. Spencer Student Recreation Center and Higgins Hall. It had been used four times with total charges of $21.53.
On Sept. 10 at 11:56 p.m. Tyler A. Gancarz, 18, of 924 Higgins Hall, was arrested in Higgins on a Batavia (IL) felony warrant for delivery of a controlled substance. He was housed in the McDonough County Jail awaiting bond ($2,500 required) or extradition to Batavia.
On Sept. 11 at 2:14 a.m. two students in Q-Lot received judicial referrals for possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Sept. 11 at 2:29 a.m. nonstudent Kevin T. Siwik, 18, of Prospect Heights (IL), was arrested in Tanner Hall for possession of drug paraphernalia and for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams). He was assigned an Oct. 20 court date.
