On Sept. 18 at 4:09 p.m. the Macomb Fire Department was called to the third floor of Higgins Hall after a fire/smoke alarm was activated. It was determined that food had been left on the stovetop in the common kitchen area and had burned, causing the alarm to activate.

On Sept. 18 at 8:30 p.m. nonstudent Maxwell Rapp, 20, of Rock Island (IL), was arrested in Q-Lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned an Oct. 20 court date.

On Sept. 18 at 8:47 p.m. nonstudents Douglas Pepmeyer, 18, and Anthony Bowton, 20, both of Galesburg (IL), were arrested in Q-Lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were assigned an Oct. 20 court date.

On Sept. 18 at 11:25 p.m. nonstudents Derrick Williams, 20, and Kyle Paul, 19, both of Downers Grove (IL), was arrested in the Seal Hall lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were assigned an Oct. 27 court date.

On Sept. 19 at 12:29 a.m. nonstudent Mitchell Courtney, 23, of Canton (IL), was arrested near Murray Street for driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted $300 cash bond [a court date was not reported].

On Sept. 19 at 1:56 a.m. one student in Thompson Hall was judicially referred for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Sept. 19 at 2:08 a.m. Matthew Frew, 18, of 303 Thompson Hall, and nonstudent Taylor Caire, 18, of Downers Grove (IL), were arrested in the 600 block of North Sherman Street for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were assigned an Oct. 27 court date. Nonstudents Brittany Hauppa, 18, of Lombard (IL), and Wojciech Nowak. 18, of Darien (IL), were also arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and assigned an Oct. 20 court date.

On Sept. 19 at 2:20 a.m. Donavan Jones, 18, and Christopher Wright, 18, both of 606 Thompson Hall, were arrested in their residence hall room on cannabis-related charges. Jones was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, while Wright was charged with possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams). They were each assigned an Oct. 20 court date.

On Sept. 19 at 4:40 p.m. nonstudent Katlyn Puclik, 20, of Springfield (IL), was arrested in Q-Lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was assigned an Oct. 20 court date.

On Sept. 19 at 5:14 p.m. two students in Q-Lot were judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

On Sept. 19 at 9:32 p.m. nonstudent Mark Pusateri, 19, of Elk Grove Village (IL), was arrested in Q-Lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned an Oct. 20 court date.

On Sept. 19 at 10:32 p.m. nonstudents Nicholas Kinder, 19, of Alton (IL), and Brent Phelps, 20, of Godfrey (IL), were arrested in L-Lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were assigned an Oct. 27 court date.

On Sept. 20 at 12:35 a.m. Ethan Bachinski, 19, of 1205 Thompson Hall, and nonstudent Matthew Rogers, 18, of Milton, WI, were arrested in the 600 block of West Adams Street for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bachinski was also charged with open alcohol in public. They were assigned an Oct. 27 court date.

On Sept. 20 at 1:23 a.m. Matthew Jansen, 18, of 616 Thompson Hall, was arrested near the Lamoine Village footbridge for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor [a court date was not reported]. Three other students were judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

On Sept. 20 at 3:07 a.m. Kevin Bollaert, 23, of 1328 Tanner Hall, was arrested for resisting/obstructing a police officer. He posted $100 for an Oct. 19 court date.

On Sept. 20 at 3:37 a.m. nonstudent Nathan Burke, 19, of Des Plaines (IL), was arrested in the second floor lounge of Thompson Hall for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and criminal damage to state-supported property (window blinds). He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

On Sept. 20 at 5:35 a.m. Christopher LeFever, 19, of 714 Corbin Hall, was arrested in Corbin, for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor [a court date was not reported].
