On Sept. 28 at 9:06 a.m. a student in Tanner Hall reported receiving harassing phone calls from a person known to her. The incident is under investigation.

On Sept. 28 at 7:27 p.m. James M. Vassalla, 19, of Higgins Hall 604, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and for resisting/
obstructing and interfering with a police officer. He was assigned a Nov. 3 court date.

On Sept. 28 at 9:47 p.m. nonstudent Kristoffer D.J. Nelson, 23, of Galesburg (IL), was arrested in Henninger Hall for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was assigned a Nov. 3 court date. Two students were issued judicial referrals for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Sept. 28 at 11:36 p.m. nonstudent Cordaro D. Morton, 21, of Springfield (IL), was arrested in Tanner Hall on an active Sangamon County warrant. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail awaiting extradition. Cash bond was set at $10,000.

On Sept. 29 at 12:21 p.m. a student reported his e-mail and other computer accounts had been hacked into and someone had sent requests under his name to his family and friends for money to be deposited in a London bank. The incident is under investigation.

On Sept. 29 at 9:47 p.m. the Macomb Fire Department (MFD) responded to a fire alarm in the basement of Thompson Hall where there was a small fire of unknown cause in the incinerator room. MFD extinguished the fire and reset the fire alarm.

On Sept. 29 at 10:46 p.m. two students in Washington Hall received judicial referrals for suspicion of cannabis in their residence hall room.
