On Oct. 9 at 11:12 a.m. a student reported that someone had stolen her credit card number and had made more than $700 online purchases. The incidents are under investigation.
On Oct. 9 at 3:18 p.m. a student reported that a USB drive, valued at $15, was stolen from the Thompson Hall computer lab.
On Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. Adrienne Benson, 19, of 424 Thompson Hall, and Jaime Paget, 18, of 422 Thompson Hall, were arrested in Thompson for possession of drug paraphernalia. They were each assigned a Nov. 17 court date.
On Oct. 9 at 10:01 p.m. three students in Henninger Hall were judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Oct. 10 at 12:52 a.m. nonstudent Nicholas McGill, 20, of Virden (IL), was arrested near the Murray and Charles streets intersection for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned a Nov. 17 court date.
On Oct. 10 at 5:12 a.m. a University employee reported that a window was broken in the Bayliss-Henninger halls cafeteria, and observed two males running from the scene. The incident is under investigation.
On Oct. 10 at 5:41 a.m. a University employee reported that a window on a sliding door at the University Union Bookstore had been broken. The incident is under investigation.
On Oct. 10 at 4:33 p.m. Mitchell Stevens, 19, of 1403 Tanner Hall; Michael Serdar, 19, of 1306 Tanner Hall; Meghan Butterfield, 19, of 1117 Bayliss Hall; Robert Carroll, 19, of 1201 Henninger Hall; and nonstudents Keven Benes, 19, of Homer Glen (IL); Thomas Malone, 19, of Lockport (IL); Jessica Kowalski, 19, of Shorewood (IL); and Alyssa Fiordirosa, 19, of Crest Hill (IL), were arrested in Tanner Hall for illegal consumption of alcohol. They were each assigned a Nov. 17 court date. Serdar was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and one other student was judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Oct. 10 at 9:39 p.m. five students in Henninger Hall were judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Oct. 11 at 2:31 a.m. Kenneth Berke, 18, of 500 Tanner Hall, and Ryan Morgan, 18, of 418 Henninger Hall, were arrested in Tanner Hall on battery charges after they allegedly physically assaulted a person known to them in Henninger Hall. Berke was also charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were both lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
On Oct. 11 at 2:36 a.m. one student was judicially referred for disorderly conduct/behavior after he allegedly attempted to fondle a female student at an off-campus location.
