2009-10-21 to 2009-10-23

On Oct. 21 at 10:20 p.m. a student in Tanner Hall reported that the lock on her residence hall door had been tampered with and damaged. Estimate for a new door, lock and labor for repair was valued at $870.

On Oct. 21 at 10:55 p.m. a student reported receiving a harassing phone call, possibly from a person known to her.

On Oct. 21 at 11:18 p.m. OPS received a call of an explosion and smoke being reported at Lamoine Village Building 3. The Macomb Fire Department responded with two trucks. It was determined that there was no fire, but that a cooking accident had caused smoke damage. A damage estimate was not available.

On Oct. 21 at 11:35 p.m., a student was judicially referred for behavior after stealing candy from the Tanner Hall C-store.

On Oct. 22 at 6:44 p.m. Andre Mitchell, 20, of 1433 Tanner Hall, was arrested at the Student Recreation Center on a Warren County warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic offense. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

On Oct. 23 at 12:43 a.m. non-student Anthony W. Ricci, 22, of Lake Geneva, (WI), was arrested for delivery of alcoholic liquor to minors. He was assigned a Nov. 24 court date.
