Office of Public Safety Report - 2017-12-06 to 2017-12-08

On Dec. 6 at 12:59 a.m. two students in Henninger Hall reported the theft of a speaker, valued at $100, and headphones, valued at $300, from their room. The incident is under investigation.

On Dec. 7 at 1:18 a.m. Jairo Munoz-Ruiz, 22, of 533 W. Adams St., was arrested in the 800 block of West Calhoun Street for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 3 a.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On Dec. 7 at 1:26 p.m. Titus Perez, 25, of 231 Chandler Blvd., was arrested in the University Union on three warrants (McDonough, Schuyler and DeKalb counties). He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 1:34 p.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On Dec. 7 at 3:22 p.m. a student reported the theft of a fire stick, valued at $60, from her Tanner Hall room. The incident is under investigation.

On Dec. 7 at 8:27 p.m. Quian Washington, 29, of 613 Olson Hall, was arrested in the Student Recreation Center on a McDonough County warrant for attempted to obstruct justice. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 8:55 p.m. where he was lodged pending bond.
