Evaluations for Illinois Endorsements

Procedures

Individuals who have Illinois teaching certificates and are desirous of earning additional endorsements, may apply for a transcript evaluation to add an endorsement through the Teacher Certification Office.   Individuals seeking this evaluation should call (309)298-1434.

Once all documentation has been received, the Certification Officer will review the information, work with the specific department as needed, and send an e-mail outlining course work needed to secure the endorsement.  Candidates who want Western Illinois University to make the endorsement recommendation on their behalf will need to complete the necessary course work through WIU.
