College Student Personnel program
The College Student Personnel (CSP) Program at Western Illinois University is excited to announce that we will be hosting the
Student Affairs 101 Conference on Friday, October 28th
from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Macomb, Illinois.
CONFERENCE PURPOSE
The Student Affairs 101 Conference is designed for undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and graduate students who are interested in pursuing professional preparation programs and/or careers in student affairs. The conference offers opportunities for participants to attend workshop sessions presented by student affairs professionals and current graduate students, network with graduate school representatives at the Graduate Fair, participate in a lunchtime roundtable discussion with current graduate students, and meet future colleagues in the field of student affairs.
This conference is all student affairs professionals, current graduate students, and undergraduate leaders who may be interested in student affairs. All are invited to attend.
Conference registration form and $20 registration fee is due by Friday, October 21st

The Student Affairs 101 Conference will be held on Friday, October 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a complimentary shuttle provided to-and-from the Macomb train station for all conference attendees.
We are currently seeking program proposals for workshop sessions. Programs will be in two tracks for: Future Student Affairs Graduates and Current Graduates and Professionals. All topics are welcome.
We are looking for a diverse group of presenters including those from differing institutional types and functional areas. We welcome proposals from experienced professionals, new professionals, and graduate students.
Please take advantage of this great opportunity to present, to assist students in their leadership development, and to provide information about the field of Student Affairs. Submissions are due by October 7, 2011 and will be accepted by mail or e-mail. All individuals who submit a program will be notified of their status by Friday, October 14, 2011.
Western Illinois University's
residential campus is located in Macomb, Illinois, at the hub of Highways 67
(north-south) and 136 (east-west).
Transportation, lodging, and parking information is available for
conference attendees. (If traveling by Amtrak a shuttle to the Union Hotel will be available.)
The Student Affairs 101 Conference will
be held in the University Union at Western Illinois University. Parking map included with campus map. Metered parking lot available near the Union.
GRADUATE SCHOOL FAIR REGISTRATION
Student Affairs: Higher Education Graduate Programs are invited to distribute information and network with interested students at the Graduate Fair from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Graduate Fair provides an opportunity for programs to inform students, share helpful information that may aid in the graduate school search process, and network with potential candidates. Please consider participating or sending materials for distribution. Registration forms are due by October 7, 2011 and will be accepted by mail or e-mail.Send materials to
