The department hosted a number of diversity training modules and exercises that helped him understand the systems of oppression that exist in our society. Just was a participant in the Next Step Social Justice retreat at the University and went on to be accepted into the Social Justice Training Institute in the summer of 2010 where he engaged in dialogues around social justice with 60 students from across the country with the help of seasoned social justice educators like Rev. Dr. Jamie Washington and Samuel Offer.
