Our Bachelor of Science in Instructional Design and Technology degree prepares you for an exciting career in developing websites, designing interactive multimedia corporate training programs, producing training videos, and creating 3D animations. We offer a practical comprehensive curriculum that is flexible to meet student's individual career goals. A strong emphasis is on technical skills in the innovative use of computers and multimedia as well as on teamwork skills necessary to manage people and projects.

IDT Bachelor of Science Degree Options

Our three undergraduate degree options allow students to specialize into the well-recognized career paths of instructional multimedia and web-based development, instructional games and simulations, and instructional methods and training.

Option 1: Instructional Multimedia and Web-based Development Option
Focus: Computer-based and web-based training
Career Paths: Web Content Manager, Web Designer, Web Developer, 
Flash Developer, Multimedia Specialist

Option 2: Instructional Games and Simulations Option
Focus: Instructional games, simulations, and virtual reality
Career Paths: Simulation Developer, Game Tester, Game Developer,
           Educational Simulation and Gaming Specialist, 3D animator.

Option 3: Instructional Methods and Training Option
Focus: Corporate and face-to-face training
Career Paths: Training Project Coordinator, Learning and Development Specialist, Training Specialist, Project Manager

IDT Minor Programs

Minors in web design, digital media, and photographic media are also offered to complement majors in related fields.
