"Strategies for Winning"

Speaker Lineup

  • Jared Elliott
    • Western Illinois University Head Football Coach. Coach Elliot is a former quarterback and wide receiver from Miami (Ohio), and has been involved in collegiate coaching ever since finishing his playing career.

  • Chip Wilde
    • 20 years of collegiate head basketball coaching experience, last 11 have been with Eureka College. Coach Wilde earned a B.S. in Physical Education from Western Illinois University in 1991 and earned his Master’s
      degree from Western Illinois in 1994.

  • Dave Darnall
    • Head coach of the Eureka College 1994 National Basketball Championship team. During his 20 -year coaching tenure, Darnall won five conference titles and was named the 1994 NAIA Division II Coach of the Year.

  • Zack Keene
    • Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Macomb High School. He has 15 years of head coaching experience and graduated from WIU with a B.S. in Health & Physical Education and an M.S. in Sport Management.

  • Tim Lafferty
    • Inducted into the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2017. He has 22 years of head coaching experience, including 14 playoff appearances.

  • Earlynn Lauer
    • Assistant professor of Sport Psychology/Wellness and the director of the Leathernecks Excel as Athletes and People (LEAP) program at WIU. Dr. Lauer is a former Division I collegiate athlete, playing tennis at Drake University.

  • Terri Paul
    • Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at West Prairie High School. She has led the Cyclones to 4 state tournament appearances, including 1 State Championship in 2016.

  • Bruce Douglas (Keynote Speaker)
    • Bruce is the President of “Shooting for Christ Ministry” a Basketball Camp & Community Outreach that promotes unity in the community by ministering to families and youth. He attended the University of Illinois where he led his teams to 4 NCAA tournament appearances.
