Professor Phillip C. Entzminger, MSCJ, JD, is an Assistant Professor of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration at Western Illinois University.  Professor Entzminger earned his Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University and his Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Advocacy from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.  While in law school, Professor Entzminger was the Legislative Editor of the Campbell Law Observer and a Deputy Attorney General for the Honor Court.  As a juvenile prosecutor, Professor Entzminger was a frequent speaker regarding juvenile advocacy, with a special focus on juvenile gangs, juvenile court, and witness testimony in juvenile proceedings.  His current research interests include alternative punishments for specific classes of offenders, the deconstruction of criminal recidivism, special topics in juvenile justice, and informal social control theory.  Professor Entzminger teaches criminal law, criminal procedure, criminal theory, juvenile justice, and civil law.  Additionally, Professor Entzminger is the adviser for WIU's award-winning Mock Trial Team.
