January 31 program Status update: The Fire Protection Services B.S. degree program is official!

The comprehensive major in Fire Protection Studies has been approved by the Il. Board of Higher Education. The program will officialy launch in the fall of 2013 however, students who have an interest in our B.S. in fire protection Studies may contact their advisor or the LEJA staff for further information

Scholarship Opportunity

Richard L. Resurreccion Public Safety Scholarship

• Up to two $1,000 scholarships annually
• Open to Phi Theta Kappa Members in Criminal Justice, Fire Science, Fire Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Public Safety Administration, Emergency Management, Homeland Security associate degree programs
• To be used for degree completion while enrolled at the community college
• Application Dates: February 13 - April 30
• Deadline: April 30
• Apply by completing the Spring Common Application
