What Do I Need to Get Started?

You can listen and subscribe to podcasts on either a Macintosh or Windows computing system. Each system requires minimum hardware and software standards which are listed below. You will need an internet connection, web browser, and iTunes in order to subscribe and download podcasts.

You do not need an iPod to view and listen to podcasts. However, if you do intend to use an iPod when viewing or listening to podcasts, understand that you must have a video iPod to view those podcasts containing video, and you must have an iPod with a screen in order to view enhanced podcasts.

Regardless of whether you have an iPod or not, you can listen to and view podcasts on your computer screen.
