Early Intervention Provider Payment Update Effective - 01/17/20

We are excited to announce that all of the issues surrounding the accounting system for these payments are believed to be resolved. IDHS announced last week there was an issue with the accounting system which prohibited payments from processing through the accounting system to the Illinois Office of the Comptroller (IOC). The accounting system was believed to be fixed which allowed the Bureau to request the remainder of the 11/27/19 voucher that experienced an issue be sent again later last week, however, the accounting system was not fully functional which resulted in the remainder of the 11/27/19 voucher not going through. The Bureau was informed this morning that the system has been fully corrected, tested and ready to resume normal procedures for approving payments.

The Bureau has also submitted the 12/04/19 provider payment voucher for processing and it, as well as the remainder of the 11/27/19 voucher, are expected to be available, if there are no other interruptions to the accounting system, within the next couple of business days.

We are very grateful for the patience and understanding of issues that were not within our control. Please be assured that IDHS works continuously to improve systems and to keep these issues from happening when possible. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused but hope for continued success in more timely processing of payments.

Thank you!
