Our staff is here to support you in your teaching with technology endeavors in numerous ways.

Upon your first visit to our office, you can expect staff to meet with you to discuss your instructional goals as well your course syllabus. We will look at what you want to teach and what you expect your students to know upon completion of the course or lesson.  We will then discuss how various technologies might assist you in ensuring that you meet your teaching goals and your students meet their learning goals.

After working with our staff to choose an appropriate technology or series of technologies that match your needs, we will assist you in integrating the technology into your coursework and setting up delivery and assessment methods.  At this time we will help you reserve any necessary facilities or equipment you will need for implementing the technology into your teaching.

Next, you will have the option of working one-on-one with a member of our staff or in the Interactive Multimedia (IMM) Lab to learn how to use the technology you have selected.

Upon your request, an IDS staff member can be available to assist you as you deliver your integrated lesson to your class.
