Program Overview
The WIU Teacher and Professional Education Program’s vision is that our graduates will be empowered educational professionals deeply committed to continuous learning and the empowerment of all learners. Our programs prepare candidates to work in various P-12 educational settings. These programs range from initial teacher certification to superintendent certification and are housed in 4 different colleges and 19 different departments.
