Western Illinois University has a Permanent Collection of art that is comprised of over 1,200 objects of art in a variety of two and three-dimensional media, including contemporary prints and drawings, "Old Master" prints, painting, photography, sculpture, and ceramics. Major areas of research and collection are WPA paintings and prints,"old master" prints and contemporary graphics, including prints and drawings and works on paper. Many of these works can be viewed through the foollowing link.

On the occasions when a wider range of images of world art are needed, Western Illinois University subscribes to the ARTstor Digital Image Database.
