Visiting Campus

Graduate Program

The best way to get to know our program is to visit us in person. We invite all prospective graduate students to campus for an individual visit. Campus visits include meeting with faculty, attending a graduate class, touring our Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, and meeting with current students. During Fall 2012, visits can be scheduled at any of the following times:

  • Mondays    11:00-1:30
  • Tuesdays    12:30-3:30
  • Wednesdays    11:00-1:30
  • Thursdays    12:30-3:30
  • Fridays    10:30-12:50
  • Fridays    1:00-3:30

If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact Angela Thomason at (309) 298-1955 or csd@wiu.edu. Please note that due to university holidays, visits cannot be scheduled on October 12 or November 19-23.

If you are unable to visit campus but have questions about our graduate program, please contact our graduate adviser, Dr. Bob Quesal at (309) 298-1955 or r-quesal@wiu.edu.

Undergraduate Program

Prospective undergraduate and transfer students are encouraged to visit the Macomb campus to learn about WIU and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. One of the best ways to visit campus is during one of the Discover Western events organized through the admissions office. Faculty from CSD attend every Discover Western event and will be available to answer your questions and give you a tour of our department.

If you are unable to visit campus but have questions about our undergraduate program, please contact our undergraduate adviser, Ms. Kate Pohlpeter at (309) 298-3529 or ka-pohlpeter@wiu.edu.
