
Roberta Davilla has been asked to serve on the editorial review board for "Communication Teacher." This commitment will be from 2008-2011. "Communication Teacher" is a quarterly teaching resource and is a publication sponsored by NCA (the National Communication Association). Instructional activities that can be conducted in either the K-12 or college classroom are solicited. A new addition under the direction of the new editor is submission of manuscripts focusing on communication education assessment in either the K-12 or college classroom. Davilla also presented two papers at the annual meeting of the National Communication Association, Chicago, IL, November, 2007: "Can’t You Just Write a Check? How Couples Communicate and How Children Learn about Money and Personal Finance" and "I Never Anticipated This: Student and Community Responses to a Poverty Simulation."
