Tri States Public Radio has received a $250 grant from the Promoting Local History Task Force of the Community Quality of Life Committee for the City of Macomb and McDonough County Areas. The funds will be used toward the purchase of a video camera and related software to enable reporter Julie Root to chronicle some of the interesting historical cemetery sites in McDonough County. Julie will produce audio features for use on-air, as well as complementary video material for online viewing. The resulting multi-media preservation on the topic will be archived at the Macomb Public Library, the Western Illinois Museum, and online at Tri States Public Radio
