Gene Kozlowski Memorial

Kozlowski

Western and the world have lost a gifted actor, beloved teacher, and consummate professional with the passing of Gene Kozlowski. Always thinking of Western, the theatre, and students, Gene and his wife Marsha established the Gene Kozlowski New Playwright Fund as a memorial to their love of theatre at Western. The memorial will provide funding for the production of new plays at Western.

2008 PAS Gala South Pacific is Great Success

The 2008 Performing Arts Society Gala, South Pacific: Some Enchanted Evening was a great success. Guest enjoyed a fabulous Silent Auction, a delicious meal and terrific entertainment. The Silent Auction was a wonderful success and the Gala raised over $27,000 to support the arts in the Western community. Some guests thought the Happy Talk Beef Tenderloin Medallions and the Bali Ha'i Ahi Tuna were the best entrees ever served by Sodexo. And the entertainment included a trio of fabulous faculty fems singing I'm Going to Wash that Man Right Out of My Hair and Paul Kreider, Dean, singing a medley of Some Enchanted Evening and This Nearly was Mine.
