Jeannie Woods

Dr. Jeannie M. Woods, Professor of Theatre, traveled to Washington D.C. in November in service to the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. Dr. Woods is a member of a special ATHE task force charged with developing new association guidelines for tenure and promotion in the field of theatre. The task force is collaborating with other theatre organizations (including the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, American Alliance for Theatre and Education, International Council of Fine Arts Deans, Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival, Voice and Speech Trainers Association, among others). The guidelines will provide information for candidates for tenure/promotion, for academic administrators, and for review committees.

Conner

Jason Conner has recently collaborated on a one-man show with WIU MFA alum/SMT actor Adam Lewis. The show Mono-Blogs: Suffering Fools received quite a bit of buzz. From the Harrison Hilltop Theatre website, "In the style of David Sedaris and the legendary Bill Hicks, Adam Lewis (Circa '21's White Christmas and My Verona's The Pillowman) relives his experiences as an actor, professor, waiter, and avid jogger in this hilarious one man show."
