Performing Arts Society Presents Awards and Welcomes New Board Members

The Performing Arts Society presented their annual awards and welcomed the Class of 2016 to their Board at their annual Banquet. They also say farewell to the retiring Board Members and thank them for their service. The Class of 2016 will serve a three year board term. Welcome aboard New Board!

Another year and WIU has graduated another class and sent them out into the world to make their mark. Some of those students have already made some rather large marks as very talented and hard working students. COFAC recognizes a scholar in each program in each of the departments. WIU was well represented at the Central States Communication Association annual meeting Kansas City in March. WIU faculty presented papers on three different top paper panels.

Alum Jackson in Brooklyn Photography Show

Thomas C. Jackson, BA 1972, has had a work accepted into a photography show. Carrie Springer, Senior Curatorial Assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City selected American Cipher 59 by Jackson for an exhibition titled Wide Open 4.
