The PAS Celebrates another Fabulous Year

The Performing Arts Society brought its year to an end with a Celebration Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 6. The PAS is always pleased to recognize those special people and businesses in the community who provide distinguised service to the organization and to the arts in general.

The 2007 Distinguished Service Awards were presented to the following:

• Corporate Salute Award was presented to Macomb Audiology
• Community Service Award was presented to Sue Melton
• Ruth Watts Award was presented to Rosa Julstrom
• William E. Brattain Award was presented to Jeff Holtz

The Bureau of Cultural Affairs recognizes those people whose service has gone above and beyond to the BCA. This year's recipients of the Bureau of Cultural Affairs Awards were:

• Alysse Anderson, YPAS Intern
• Ashley Brown, President, BCA
• Bridget Hiel, Conference Coordinator, University Union
• Yvonne Oliver, Recruitment Coordinator, School of Music
• Roberta Smith, Physical Plant, Building Services
• Lindsay Swanson, Graduate Assistant, BCA

The PAS said good bye and thank you to its retiring board members and welcomed new members to the board.
