Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Students:

Having been asked to write a farewell message becomes a difficult task. To find the words to adequately express how wonderful an experience it has been to serve the college is not easy; thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you. The past seven years have been fulfilling and rewarding. To watch this college grow in stature within the university and community, in its commitment to outreach, and in its commitment to students while providing a quality education - this truly has been a rewarding experience for me witnessing everyone's excellent work in making all this happen.

REYKJAVIK WIND QUINTET will join

the WIU CAMERATA WOODWIND QUINTET IN CONCERT

Thursday, June 16th COFAC Recital Hall at 8 PM Note later start time.

Admission is FREE and OPEN to the public.

The concert includes Sextets by Beethoven and Reinecke

Alum Downing Sings at Carnegie Hall

Patrick Downing, BM 2009

 
Patrick Downing, BM Music Business 2009, performed at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, May 29, 2011 as part of a large concert that featured the collaboration of several Quad City-based choral ensembles. A member of the professional ensemble, Quad City Choral Arts, Downing was one of 213 singers who performed Carl Orff's masterpiece, Carmina Burana.

COFAC Advisory Board Meets

COFAC Advisory Board at the Judickas home.

 
The College of Fine Arts and Communication Advisory Board meets twice a year-spring and fall. At their most recent meeting, June 4, they also bid farewell to Paul Kreider. It was under Kreider's tutelage that the Advisory Board formed and has become the best college advisory board any college could ask for. Members come from all parts of the US and globe to meet twice a year and move the college forward in it's misson.
