DirectorsLabChicago offers environments in which emerging and established directors from around the world are able to consider, challenge, and engage in both the traditional and contemporary aspects of their craft.
There were workshops and discussions with a Rabbi, an architect, the artistic director of a Commedia Dell 'Arte troupe, a panel of theatre critics, a doula, an expert on story telling, and an expert on rituals in primitive societies. The participants were from several US cities as well as some international participants—Japan, Germany, Spain, England, Canada, Ukraine.
