Faust

Randall Faust has been a Professor of Music at Western Illinois University since 1997, and has been honored to follow the late Roger Collins as Hornist of the Camerata Woodwind Quintet (now in its fiftieth anniversary year). As a member of the Camerata Woodwind Quintet, he regular performs concerts and gives clinics throughout the country, is regularly heard on WIUM—Tri-States Public Radio, and has recorded quintets by Jacques Hétu, Anthony Iannaccone, and John Steinmentz with The Camerata Woodwind Quintet on Crystal Records. He is also the Hornist of Western Illinois University's LaMoine Brass Quintet—that has hosted an annual BRASSFEST since 1998.

Ginsberg

Eric Ginsberg

Eric Ginsberg has been Professor of Clarinet and Clarinetist in the Camerata Woodwind Quintet, in residence at Western Illinois University, since 1996. As a member of the Camerata Woodwind Quintet he participated in the recording for Crystal Records of Jacques Hetú’s Quintette, opus 13; Anthony Iannaccone’s Woodwind Quintet No. 2, Scenes after Hart Crane; John Steinmetz’s Quintet. In addition, he recorded James Stevenson’s The Devil’s Tale for Ravello Records with the Western Illinois University Faculty Chamber Players He is also a faculty member at the Brevard Music Center in Brevard, North Carolina, and performs with the Peoria Symphony and the Knox-Galesburg Symphony.

Emily Hart

Emily Hart

Emily Hart is an alumna of Western Illinois University and an Illinois native, Oboist Emily Hart has performed in a variety of innovative ensembles around the globe. As an orchestral musician she has performed with the Rochester Chamber Orchestra in Rochester, NY, the Royal Conservatory Orchestra in Toronto, Ontario, and a variety of ensembles at the Eastman School of Music, including the Eastman Philharmonia and the Eastman Chamber Orchestra.

Huff

Douglas Huff

Douglas Huff began his undergraduate studies as an economics major at Harvard College, eventually transferring to the University of the Pacific, where he was awarded a BM (1975). He received an MM (1977) from Indiana University, a Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (1993) from Chapman University, and a DMA (2001) from the University of Iowa.

McMurtery

John McMurtery

Professor of Flute at Western Illinois University and member of the Camerata Woodwind Quintet, John McMurtery is flutist of the New York City Opera Orchestra and principal flutist of the Peoria Symphony. He has served as guest principal flute with the Chicago Symphony, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the Detroit Symphony. He served as acting piccolo with the Oregon Symphony and held principal flute chairs with the Opera Orchestra of New York and Manhattan Chamber Orchestra.
